At Just For Kids we do our best to provide the best value for online shopping of children's books. All books are discounted from retail, and our shipping costs are competitive with most mail-order bookstores.
At this time, we are no longer accepting orders.
Well, with no orders, there's no need for you to pay us anything.
Well, if you're not buying anything, don't worry about the credit cards -- we don't ask for them anywhere.
However, we use SSL or Secure Socket Layer for the entire purchase
process, which is the same industry-standard level of protection used by all major online shopping sites.
All of your personal information, including name, address and credit card number, are encrypted throughout
the purchase process, so that it can not be read by any other computer while in transit to our server.
We normally ship using the US Postal Service Media Mail Rate, which is the most economical way to send books and similar items. Shipping is currently $3.50 -- anywhere within the United States for any size order, and the same price since our founding in 1996! Orders under $5.00 are only $2.99.
Within the United States, we can also ship US Postal Service Priority Mail or Express Mail (best if there are holidays and weekends coming up -- Express Mail delivers on Sundays and even Christmas), and UPS Second Day and Overnight.
Outside of the United States, we ship via US Postal Service Air, Priority and Express rates.
If you choose a method other than our standard shipping, you will pay exactly the US Postal Service or UPS rates, plus a small surcharge of $0.90 to $1.25 to cover our packaging and transportation costs. This can save you a lot of money, compared to paying per-item shipping charges on inexpensive children's books.
Please remember that orders are usually assembled from our distribution centers, and may take several days before they ship. Items marked with the purple BUY button will usually ship no later than the next business day.
Because of increased package shipment during the holidays, orders placed after December 10 may not reach you before Christmas, especially if shipped by ground rates. We recommend using Priority or Express or UPS shipping to ensure prompt delivery during the holiday season.
We guarantee that items will arrive in good condition. If merchandise is lost or damaged, we will replace the item or refund it, as you prefer.

Just For Kids used to have thousands of books selected from the best children's books available from publishers around the world. We don't even keep a printed catalog for ourselves! Because of the frequency of changes and the size of the catalog, it would be very expensive to print and ship the catalog.
Of course, now there's no catalog online either.
Our Web server does not automatically recognize any personal information about you. Unless you actually place an order with us, no personal information is gathered or stored.
We do collect the e-mail addresses of those who post messages to our message forums, comments page, those who communicate with us via e-mail, and those who place orders.
The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, to notify consumers about updates to our Web site but is not shared with any other organizations. We only send e-mail notices to those customers and visitors who request it.
